Resilient 06:14
Third set of souls worn through this winter Can't see my feet for the blisters Is there no more that I can offer For in this offal I am mired all for what All for what I am naught but a pair of boots And a weapon I hold like a lover If you will stay with me Then you, you will be my brother Another fortnight at attention Leaving every wound and bruise unmentioned By now I've soaked right through the bandage And I'm not sure how long I can manage now Let me out I will not have been in vain I will not be silenced by my pain I will not have been in vain I will not be silenced by my pain

Uneasy lies the head that has repeatedly hit ground And every takedown makes the back pain harder to kick out of My two thirds is your three fourths I can't measure up and it can't be forced I won't be needed as your dark horse counting lights is what I'm for If you stay by my side, your title dreams are through The numbers don't lie and they spell disaster for you I am one third tired and emotional at least a quarter braindead or maybe just hormonal I am one third the way to being done with all my moaning I'm 50% sure I'd rather be on my lonesome If you stay by my side, your title dreams are through The numbers don't lie and they spell disaster for you I've been thinking too much it's because my ideas ran out it's only a matter of time before you see my health's in doubt Most who try to shock the world will simply fall flat on their face Is there really any shame In living just to dodge disgrace If you stay by my side, your title dreams are through The numbers don't lie and they spell disaster for you I cannot meet your eyes I'm scared of the truth The numbers don't lie and they spell disaster for you

this city smells like pulp and moss the docks grow cold but bear no frost and these fish and chip bars blowing heat on to tourist patios that bear no tourists, when canadians get cold I know It's rough but it's all that we have here it's all that we have here the rain is silent, and so am I this city sucks, I couldn't lie the mall is looking more complex with every nostalgic silhouette I hate everybody here no-one will leave me alone this place is home I hate admitting it we missed the bus so let us walk home I'll miss the bus I'd rather walk home alone [aggression] I'm piss drunk, at 2 am the city lights flicker and go dim it seems like just another normal night it seems like just another normal night another normal night
4.
I can still feel where your hand once alighted on my wrist and I am still healed by every constellation drawn with every kiss catching sight or sound or smell or melody in everything I write of everything you taught me all this rain still hasn't cleaned you off this street all this pain will never set anyone free and I have been left with cracks on every bone inside of me but I don't need your song to sleep I concede that there is still a tether not a flame, just a feather I will not plead, already did by pen and ink we've had our time to think gather fiends we let them in between our teeth it's obscene I let you be my enemy all this rain still hasn't cleaned you off this street all this pain will never set anyone free and I have been left with cracks on every bone inside of me but I don't need your help [bass]

Rebuild 03:45
If you permit, we'll clear the sirens from your mind If you allow, we'll tell you of the solace you can find Tempting as it is to hide your injuries away Do not conceal just how low you've been laid Have you been split into your disparate parts Have you been screwed directly through all of your harts Even as the air above your head fills with shrapnel Driving you into the ground We will rebuild ourselves We will rebuild ourselves And we will rebuild this town Will you pitch in to clear the rubble from the streets And get your neighbors back up onto their feet We don't wish for death, to be buried for good to be honest I can see why you would Now you persist in spite of peril fore and aft The life that you lead is the legend you craft Even though supplies are low and chaos surrounds you Grinding your sanity down We will rebuild ourselves We will rebuild ourselves And we will rebuild this town

Peckerhead 05:45
I wish you well even as I wish you away I will see you in hell lying in the beds we made
